Komax’s sludge static mixers are best known for their non-fouling and non-clogging track record. We have achieved this by designing smoothly contoured edges of the element sets, with a large radius. We have eliminated corners where solids or fibrous materials usually tend to get accumulated. This line of mixers is designed to ensure better dispersion of a small amount of solution through the sludge mixing elements.
Our units are engineered to follow a unique mixing action. Each mixing element set in combination sweeps approximately two thirds of the circumference of the pipe and directs the flow to the opposite side. This provides a very strong wall-to-wall radial transfer. You can achieve great results even when downstream free flow lengths are absent in the mixing process.
